[Question] [DEV] what do you think of my new launcher?

i've been working on this launcher for fun. just to practise some stuff. i didnt make it so you can edit things is a .ini file. but i did it so you can edit it trough websites :D. (i use freewebs and works perfect)

here is the layout:

things controlled by the links:

checks for news
theres an ifnews.txt file that he loads @ STart up if it says news it will not show the launcher but show the news form. if it says no news it will just go to the launcher.

news text
the news in the news form is in a news.txt file.
(news form: )
when you click ok you go to the launcher.

website
the website that loads is in a website.txt file

Click Sound
the click sound that you hear when you press start is uploaded so you dont have to have the file on your pc, its a full stand alone.



Bad thingz:
-Still no auto updates
-sometimes bit buggy

Maybe its an idea to make an crc32 checksum for each file, and let it read an patch file on the server/website.

well its better then having no launcher, and use the rontana .exe without a launcher, this way they can display news etc, thats why i made it in the first place.
