Reconfiguring..

How can i reconfigure microsoft sql so i can set up a account and password for server authentication.,.cuz i did window authentication when i first set it up, and now idk how to fix, and i tried redling but it just said "repair or change" etc so can somebody help?

Open Studio > Expand "security" > Expand "Logins" > Right click "sa" and click properties, enter a new pass

im sorry, do i connect to database before going to security? cuz i cant find security when i dont connect...im using microsoft SQL Server Management express right?

yes, you must connect /w windows authentication which is just computer name/SQLEXPRESS and then folow what i said
