Relevant Blender and texturing tutorials?

Hey all, I've been trawling google looking for relevant guides to creating 3d models from start to finish, as I find that every bit of help is good help.

I've got modelling down decently, enough to make weapons and static objects certainly, but not enough knowledge on texturing to make decent or even passable texturing. I'm using Paint.Net currently but have photoshop available, know how to use them for basic things like making layers and applying effects and alpha channels for images etc. (for reference I used to create textures in Paint )

What tutorials helped you along most?

Thanks to both, though I had viewed the Kerdex one before, still a good reference point! :D

Texturing is my weakness and the above could help. :)
