Rumors on working survival mode?

I heard rumors about people having Survival mode working on July 2008 files however no videos of it where made.
I'm wondering if anyone else heard about this and/or has proof of the existence.

Personally I don't believe any of it but I would like to be surprised.

Heard it was working before server files got released a while ago.

Of course no proof was given nor did i hear more then the rumors.

Im sure it could be done, but to many people are reluctant to work together, so its most likely not done yet.

Maxteam got his Survival working on the 2007 files long before. However, he couldn't figure out the survival ranking system.
