Servers not appearing.

Ok, i am hosting a gunz server on a vps, when i open the launcher, it loads the web page for start up (Launcher/start.html), but for some reason when it loads all the files, it shows that there are no servers. But yet when i look on the vps, it says the server is running. So why isnt the servers showing up in the login box?


I have done:

Added server info to dbo.serverstatus
Hex edited launcher
Edited all config files in the server files (Agent.xml, server.ini, and locater.ini)
Edited system.xml in system.mrs




(Where it says "I PUT WAN UP HERE", thats where i have the WAN ip, just removed it for this.)

in server.ini, dont put your wan ip, put 127.0.0.1 in all the ip spots.
can u take a pic or 2 of ur dbo.serverstatus?

um i had this problem just make sure the places were it is suppose to have your wanip instead of the local host's ip



Then make sure your firewall is off..

no, i was saving you from AE. Anyway, what about system.xml?
did you open the servers in dbo.serverstatus?

and yes, in the serverstatus.dbo both "opened" columns are set to a value of 1.

Im using a vps from VPSLand, dont they do that for you?

NO YOU DO it lol , if im not wrong they only give you what they listed on there details , did they say Opened ports [NO] just porforward them :)

I used an online port checker, it can see the ports for the gunz server.

Kk fine, but where do you do it in the vps from vpsland? I know how to do it on my router, not necessarily theirs.

Nope , thats i can't help much sorry , but i think it is portforward proplem trying never hurts

Vps's / Dedicated servers come unblocked that includes all ports ive ran a gunz server this is the only time we have had a problem like this the only thing is i havent messed with gunz server in like 3 months

they pissed me off when there ports werent open, and blocked some ports from opening.

That never happened to me with my old maple server / Gunz server or my runescape server lol

i use limestones now for my Maplestory server

VPSLand gives problems, sadly. (Hard for starters)

And Anan, VPSes & dedis come port forwarded on default.
