    Took me 2 hours to update the whole Gunz source to work with Visual Studio 2012.

    2 hours? It uses vc9 right? Shouldn't have many incompatibilities at all.

    It uses vc7.1 (visual studio 2003), and there are many projects on it, that's why took me a while. Although it's pretty easy to upgrade even without any previous C++ knoweledge.

    It doesn't take a while to upgrade the source to a different version of VS. Sometimes, it can effect on the building when you build it.
