SQL Problem :(

Hello when i install sql server , and when i loging in,this message always come to me : Source: ID: ( ) - Events And Errors Message Center: Message Details
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 28 - Server doesn't support requested protocol) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: -1)

can some one tell me the soloution of this problem please? :(

Well I Had This Problem Before .
Let me "TRY" to help you.

first off all your using windows xp right ?


anyway go to add/remove things in your computer placed in control panel , and remove all things that are related to SQL , like sql english and stuff.

when your done go to C/MICROSOFT SQL and delete everthing there then try to reinstall . while your installing remember the pass you will add.

I believe he is trying to use a remote connection to the mssql database using tcp/ip. Did you enabled the option for mssql before you attempt to use remote connection?
