open SQL configuration manager then press Protocols for SQLEXPRESS and enable shared memory,Named pipes,TCP/ip and VIA ...via should be enabled when all others are...
And if that wont work check your odbc settings...

ok ive seen this kid 3 times now. [T]aco, Rotana, a moderator here, is on my GunZ team. Id suggest you knock it off before i get him here to rip your head off.

To TheDragon: Id say turn your firewall off, OR just get a VPS/dedicated server, i found one before for 6$/month and itll probabl be able to host your gunz game with a decent amount of ppl. Anyways your firewall/router is definatly the problem, so turn off your firewall, and if you have a router forward all the ports or turn that off too. Other than that i cant think of a way to fix it.

The vps for server? but if i want a register page, i basicly need to host on the vps.

VPS is Virtual Protocol Server. Its like a Dedicated host but not.

For a register page u can use Apache but u should buy the webhosting account.
