Chek your config.php and look for the server thingy fill in localhost if you didn't do that...

although his web is kinda neat :)

Last time i got this problem from his web, is because i didn't add my sql information into all of the files.
Something like serverstatus.php, serverstatus2.php, and index.php was the files where you had to enter your information.

If not, try switching to wamp. =)

your using a VPS you haven't any of proplems for that reason [VPS comes ready to host , you just do a some simple stuff on it]

i didnt use VPS when i added the site, it was on my computer with appserv
