hi all,
so i made up a new idea,
what about a web-based gunz client, so you wont need to download.
just go to www.example.com/gunz and play!
I'm not sure if you're intrested in this so that's why I'm discussing this first.

and how exactly is this gonna work?
It's just not possible.
well you could try to make something like an emulator.
think of the habbo idea. uses an emulator and 1 html file to run on the web.
why wouldn't it work?
i'm pretty sure there some web based games out there that look alot better than gunz. if not, correct me.
Edit, check this out.
YouTube - Best browser game in the world!!! "Interstellar Marine"
it's web based. pretty sick graphics

This would require a team of extremely skilled people and there aren't any such people in the GunZ scene. It's best to not discuss about things that are surely to not happen.
Play nice kiddies; and no this isn't possible. Also do you think that just because you play a game in your browser it isn't downloaded? it still downloads the game, it doesn't just magically work. It downloads the files to your PC and the web browser just calls for those files and embeds them into the applet.
Totally untrue, if I can find the old files they're around somewhere I have a working file system with caching. =p
Dagans FSOW it's terribly coded for the 2nd half as he rushed it, and it's not even complete but it did caching, and it did it well. So Lambda isn't the only one hehe.
Games on the web are mostly flash games and java games. Did you realize that you only move your mouse and shoot in the game that you showed? And also I can tell it is a flash game. Gunz is a PC Game. It has moves that combines keys. If it is done on the web, it may disconnect the flash and do other stuff. It's not possible. Did you also know that there are Counter Strike flash games on the web ?? If you play them, it's nothing like Counter Strike. You can't move. You just stay in a spot and shoot enemies.
