Of course it's leeching, if it wasn't leeched, people won't be doing emulators. I have the opinion that if MAIET couldn't mantain their files private, the problem is theirs if we're using the files.

well heres one of the dilemmas that make all of us hypocrites...
i define leeching as using some1s elses stuff without their permission and not modifying it in anyway...
but heres something to consider:
if we take server files + the models and quests from maiet then every1 says hurrah, but if we take the models/quests from other private servers then every1 thinks ure a leecher....
Yes like I said above. We belong to the same community and if stuff like this happens, it will make many of us angry . There is no one from MAIET to whine about it to us since they're not able to maintain their files and keep them completely private.

What is the point in discussing this? People are illegally using stolen files - who cares what it's labeled as?
Closed.
If its not a point then you shoulden't ban or give other people infractions when they release stuff that can help the Gunz "Community" to become better, And with that i mean like the eurogunz website, they can take a look at it and look how Lambda / Emisand coded it and can try their own sort of website but "No" when you say these things people get all mad and say its leeching, But if you moderators etc, Are looking in that direction why don't you ask yourself if its right using MAIET files? Because everything that is released here on ragezone "Gunz section" Are based on the MAIET files ? Then it would actually be better to Give Infractions / Ban to everyone that releases something about GunZ.
That's not opinion, that's fact that illegal files are used.
Re-open this thread again and it will be deleted, you being infracted.
EDIT:
You misinterpreted the very short, clear, and concise sentence: "People are illegally using stolen files - who cares what it's labeled as?"
Yup, what's being done is illegal, who gives a shit what we call it? (e.g. "Leeching")
I was threatening to infract for undoing my decision. Ripping off the work of others, changing it for their own use, is usually how the private server scene works. The RageZone staff sees that, and allows it.
