Where do you huys have a didi or vps

Hello evry one one. I have a little question. Where do you guys have a vps or dedicated server?

Ummm there is Frantech which is fairly good but there are others out there depending if you are needing to run more then just Gunz on it O.O.

Make sure you read ALL the information, don't just look for The Ram CPU Diskspace etc. These are all important but not as important as if will even run a gunz server. Remember ORIGINAL Gunz server files need windows to run. Later on linux may become a possibility seeing that more then one server are or are in the development of running emulated files. Next you need to make sure what ports the isp AND your vps provider block. I remember running with vpsland.com for awhile, and although it is cheap beyond compare it is still not even worth it because they block all udp connection. Finally you need to make sure where the vps is located. Position of your server will change your lag ratio drastically, so be on guard.

Freestyle GunZ uses it. It's good if you don't run the MatchAgent while more than 100 people are online.

I was about to get the Ultimate Package ($68/mon.) from vpsland.com for FGunz. There are like 130-250 people online all the time. Do you think the server could handle that? And what about the UDP connections? What happens if it blocks them?

Don't use VPSland. It blocks ports.

3GB RAM for 130-250 people is massive overkill. You normally estimate 1GB RAM ~ 1000 players.

hes right just keep the ram low. If you are hosting both Match/Clan Server and agents 2 gigs possibility.

Dont go through vps land, udp ports being blocked would force you to host the matchagent and locator on another vps by using remote sql, takes the whole point away from having a vps xD
