Why is the Advertisement Section Moderated?

Yea, I am just wondering why it is moderated, I added an advertisement there on Thursday and it said 'Wait for a Moderator to allow the thread.' I am still waiting now, I can also see that there are no new threads there either.

Maybe a mod could work in that section?
