[Question,Request] SQL 2005 error ... Request SQL 2000 1299DB

im using :
sql 2005
vista / windows server 2003 (both same problem)

the problem :

im having severe problems with my SQL it says
i got multiply servers running while i only got 1 KN_Online because when i need to select what SQL Server to use for hte ODBC connection.. i get like 4 none of them work. i followed all guides for 1299 but still i get the following error...
can someone help me out ?

and another question. is there a 1299 DB for sql 2000 or is it even possible... or something CLOSE to it.

Ik ben er niet zeker van wat die error is maar ik weet een ding.
Momenteel gaat vista niet voor private servers.
Er is toch geen public manier om het te doen

I'm not so sure about the error but I know one thing
At the moment vista doesn't work for private servers
Atleast, there isn't any public way how to do it

well ok but it also gives the same error on windows server 2003.
which i know some servers run on.

what i would really know if there is a 1299 on sql 2000
and if not would it be possible to make 1 ?
and how i can solve that error im planning to put some real effort in this server.

For the server name, you put ComputerName\SQLEXPRESS

not KN_online <_<

that KN_Online is the name for a ODBC Connection and as far as i know thats mentioned in ALL ODBC settings to also put one in KN_Online and i know i need to put name/sqlexpress to connect the managment studio. but do i need an ODBC setting with my computer name then ?? :S

In the screenshot, you're putting (local) for server. You're supposed to put ComputerName\SQLEXPRESS

To find your computer name, right-click "My Computer" and press Properties. A pop-up should occur with System Restore, Automatic Updates, Remote, General, Computer Name, Hardware, and Advanced. Click the Computer Name tab, and your computer name should be posted in that Window.

done
