Nope, they're not.. I haven't gotten far enough into tackling all the problems of 4.4 yet to get to quests. Got the spawn all set up, got the sahara trader working, got a lot of the non-stop errors I was getting in the error log fixed, but still not to quests yet. But ya, for some reason they're not triggering the first quest, and so nothing happens from there.
Problem is more general .. in 3.8 quests are static they are predefinded and hardcoded into Exe in 4.4 quests are made very flaxsible they are stored in 3 tables into Database tblQuestText8,tblQuestScript8,tblQuest8,tblQuestTask8 tblInfo
In this case u can made our own qiests and events
the only problem is that we dont have example how to made it but the good new is that fields is in clear english and i hope in next 2 days to find a way to do them

Ok. I still have had no luck in getting quests to work, and I'm having a problem with bp spending. Same as the good old 3.8 thing that after being edited, a character is unable to spend bp. While in 3.8, this was fixed through the use of a ppill, this does not seem to fix the problem in the 4.4 patch. Also been getting a lot of errors like this..

These errors are pretty fatal. Once one occurs, they start crashing in at about 50-100 per minute until the server crashes out entirely. This has only been occuring for the last few days, and I'm worried it might be due to the "fixes" I threw together for some of the other problems, including the tradeshop and the like. It's really frustrating.

Wrong: The quest info for 3.8 is in a folder NOT hard coded into an exe.
Maybe you didnt see the files in this directory
C:\RedMoonSVR\Bin\Data\Event\work
Take another look because all of the quest info are in 2 files for 3.8
Its one excel and one text file and if you are missing that directory let me know I can give you both files that are suspose to be there.

Me .. don't really care if quests get working ... as a whole .. but it would be nice if someone could find the spot where you could adjust "quest state" (like in 3.8 using the -1) that the characters can freely travel the maps on their own ...
Besides if you're using the 3.8 message.ctf .. you'll never see the quest information in the quest box anyways ... if you use the 4.4 ctf and the quests were working you'd have to learn how to read korean ...
What I'm after is just the quest state completed .. so I don't have to hand out GC to all the char's .. the tendency here is they want to play the game straightup ... instead of having all the stuff at their command .... as in the shops
Does anyone know if there is just a permission value that would allow move only .. without shops ... that might help out as well ...

Also ... still wondering if honor will increase accordingly without having completed each quest state ... and if it doesn't it .. does anyone know if it will impact the skill advancements on a character due to low honor requirement ...
