Uni's not effectively working

I think I read something about this before ... not sure what the issue might be.

I went back to 3.8 from 4.4 .. thought I had found the original fixed map files that I think corrected the uni's not working ... they drop fine ... but like the minerva's tears or blessings do not increase the characters str at all .. so I'm presuming that i have a uni problem ... and require these fixed maps ..

Any feedback is greatly appreciated ... and if the answer is fixed maps .. can someone link em along ... I'd appreciate it ...
