From what I've seen, Lineage 2 donesn't use a database at all, but some CSV files.
That makes it more light on the computer resources, but hard to manage...
i think its WAY more easily managed than any other server.
It has the things you can do writen down, and its easily coprehensible.It doesent take many resources and you can put it up in a flash...
Of course the files arent complete, so we have to wait how "little" resources take and how "easy" to manage is
