I have been using this guide to make my own server http://forum.ragezone.com/lineage2-e...ore-69988.html

The problem is, in step 6, it says I need to modify my server.cfg file, I cant find it.

can somebody post where its supposed to be?


oh, and, am I supposed to download the L2J files to the existing "Lineage II" folder? or put them in a differant file.

the file is called server.properties
.cfg was only meant to represent that it's a config file
you could have found that yourself if you just had opened some of the property files in the server's config folder

l2j is the server that's one location
lineage 2 is the client that's another
...makes 2

funny... everyone wants to make his own server, but not everyone wants do something for that, moreover... skilled player does not mean skilled serverkeeper ;)

I have been booted from about 50 servers, and I decided that its time to make my own, but I dont have any idea how :clown:

so use the "Search"-button to create one - i learned to create one in this forum and the l2j forum (and different other forums - linux etc)

if you are searching here you can find almost all questions you have to create one

i learned it in 2 weeks and one week further i wrote an own quest... so the only thing you have to do is:
