strange ping problem

i have a server all set up and its weird cuz i have had like 15 people play at once and no lag. now my stupid router changed internal ip and to i have changed things to work with the new ip. so the problem is i have like 3 people wan on the server and they get no lag at all, now when i try to connect lan i get a ping of 9999 and i cant connect to server any ideas?

Are the ports opened on the good internal ip? And is the server configured to his lan ip in the server.propeties and login propeties?

lol i forgot that when my router ip changed i need to configure it on the server and my host file thanks for the responce.
