1.12.x + TBC 6144(etniks)

Hey all, just curious whether it's possible to run both 1.12.x and TBC 6144(Etnik's) off of a single database, as in i have all the latest sql updates in accordance to rev 2987, and i would like to run a TBC server aswell. Would it be safe to execute the Etnik's TBC database in the pre-existing 2987 database?

I'm no wiz-kid with this stuff, but i'd guess that if Etnik's database is just a 1.12.x datbase updated with TBC stuff, 2987 could run off of the TBC database?

I tried creating a new database entry, as in mangos_tbc alongside the mangos one, i set the config files with the TBC 6144 rev to look in there instead, all that well in true, i then execute the TBC batch file in the database but nothing shows up, i think for some reason it still get's executed in the origional mangos database? any ideas?

@ Xxilim: Use navicat. Also, make sure that the .sql file actually contains anything (sometimes a file doesn't completely download, and can't be used.), and create a realmd_tbc database too. If you're trying to execute an sql on a table, and it does nothing, chances are that the sql is either empty or corrupt, so just DL it again. Hope you get it fixed soon. :smile:
