Where are the maps?
You wrote a lot of links to them, but every file is only around 25 mb...
I thought the maps are about 217mb...
Its a winrar that has compressed 5 winrars
Instead of telling me about how big the files should be, how about you actully try first...
Its a winrar thats containing 4 archives....
And not the maps!
double post
Wow 2.0.0 (6080) enUS/GB - Wow 2.0.2 (6144) enUS/GB is not possible .. thrs 1 Patch tht updates 2.0.0(6080) to 2.0.3 ... and other patches updates version 2.0.0(6082) to 2.0.x, so practically u cant Update 2.0.0(6080) to 2.0.2(6144), the best way is to update using Official updater to the latest version which i think is 2.0.6(6337) and use the Latest MaNGoS TBC Server Pack.
Ok, only 2 issues are;
[Missing Way Too Much...]
...and I either get stuck at handshaking or can't get in period. :hammer:
Now, el3v3ns, did you want us using the .sql in the reg mangos-maps folder in that most recent .rar? (That pack came with 2. I'm guessing the bigger of the 2?)
And is there a reason there's all the realm tables in the mangos db? Otherwise great work! :good:
Got this server up and running. Took the map files from another TBC server. Running with TBC 2.0.6.2667. My problem isn't so much with me accessing it, so much as when my friend accesses it, he hits an infinite realm loop. I've tried changing the SQL entry for realms to my LAN IP and tried changing the hosts. etc. None of that has helped him. Any idea how to fix this?
I had this problem once, but with WoW 1.12.2 and Mangos rev 30xx (cant remember the exact revision). It occurred every time I did not have a network cable connected to my PC.
I fixed the problem by setting the IP of my realm (in the Mangos database) as well as the IP in realmlist.wtf (in your WoW client folder) to 127.0.0.1.
Hope this helps...
nah i tried your method b4 hand b4 i post in the forum
i use 127.0.0.1 for both realm in the mangos database and my realmlist.wtf
i use aurexx.servegame.com ( my server dns name)
i use my dynamic ip add
all 3 gave the same problem
somewhere goes wrong
i follow the instruction correctly
no error found while running mangosd and realmd
it goes smoothly
only when i try to log in
it will stuck at handshaking
there4 definetely not my internet connection
and i tried with the other mangos standalone 2.0.6 repack from this forum
and i got it running without any problem
