2.0.6 Server
Updated When Needed!

1) The Downloads :
- First make a folder called 'MaNGOS' or something =)
- Then Download:
1. The DBC files
2. Precompiled Bins (The Debug)
3. The Source (mangosd & Realmd)
4. Ad.exe - Gathering the maps
5. SQL Database
or download all of these 5+ the maps here!

2) The Extracting Etc..
- Go to the MaNGOS Folder
- Then Extract :
1. The DBC files into a folder called 'DBC' (Make it by yourself if it doesn't create it)
2. The Precompiled Bins (The Debug), Is needed, and extract it to your mangos\ folder..
3. The Source IS NOT NEEDED !
4. You can use the AD.exe or download maps
5. SQL Database - Extract in a folder called 'SQL'

3) The Setup
- Make a MySQL Server etc
- Download The Navicat
- Connect to your host
- Make a new database - Call it 'mangos2'
- Extract :
1) The file in the Database Folder (Database.rar) folder =) - mangos2.sql
2) Wait to it getting finished

4) Mangosd config :
- Go to the mangos folder
- Then open:
1. mangosd.conf
Find :

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;7788;mangos2"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;7788;mangos2"

Change it to:
"
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOUR-Password;mangos2"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOUR-Password;mangos2"

2. Save & Close

5) Realmd config
- Go to the mangos folder
- Then open:
1. realmd.conf
Find:
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;7788;mangos2;"

Change it to:
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;YOUR-Password;mangos2;"

6) The maps:
- Download them here (CLICK ME)
- Place them in mangos folder
- So, it should be Mangos\maps

7) Account Creation:
- Go to Navicat
- Open your connection
- Go to Realmd -> accounts
- Find the '+' icon
- Look at this picture (CLICK ME)

8) Finish.
- Run mangosd.exe <- Let it load until it say 'BEEP' =)
- Run realmd.exe <- Let it load in 3 secs

9) The Connection:
- Go to your WoW Folder
- Find realmlist.wtf
- change it all to:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
- Open wow and play ;D

10) The Fixing Of 'Im stuck everytime i teleport'

K. i figured out the solution


1 : Open the sql file

2 : Role down and find inster intro gameobject value

3 : Select all of the lines that are a part of the gameobject value

4 : When you reach the botter youl find ANOTHER inster intro gameobject value...

5 : Delete the lines you have selected

6 : Save and close

You have now created a 2.0.6 Server, without teleport stuck =D

Istn here any other way to extract your own maps instead of downloading cuz i have connection troubles and it makes teh download stop before its finished and i am sick of megaupload messages that say download limit excedeed and its own download manager suck big time

Yes, there is a small program called "ad.exe" it extracts the maps from your client folder.

But I've never used tbc before, and I think you would have to have it installed before ad would extract the correct maps for tbc server.

I also think you would need a different ad program for tcb clients than the one for 1.12x clients.

But if you check out the mangos release thread in stickies, you will come across the map extractor tool, think there are also ones for tbc too.

Is this for version 2.0.6 Normal WoW or 2.0.6 TBC, cause as from others i couldnt use 2.0.6 unless i had TBC installed, please answer to save me download/work :p

You NEED to have TBC installed for this.

Search for a torrent (if you're a member) on demonoid.com if you don't have it installed.

And Chatbox/GM Commands should work.

I wouldn't suggest using ad.exe for maps because I don't recall what maps you should be extracting.

Some Outland NPC's are spawned, but not all

I don't recall any quests
There are items
New Races ARE working
All the zones work!

Keep checking this post for updated GM commands (like Netherdrake ;) )

Yeah but up to wich version is thah ad.exe useful cuz i have got the 2.06 (TBC ) and it gives an error with that data

[Msg] Finished - Unsuccessfully

i got the emu up and loaded but i am having problems connecting 2 the emu, it getz stuck in a loophole. can someone plz upload the realmd.sql that WORKs 4 u already?

I got the same error. To get it working I downloaded SQLyog and connected to the new database, then opened mangos2.sql, let it load, then clicked 'Execute All Queries' and it worked perfect.

Only now I get an endless realm loop and the server name is stuck on "Emupedia TBC Sandbox" and cannot be changed. (as far as I know)
