Access violation 0x7c35528c ascent

I have been working on this for like 3 days now everything i do seems to end with ascent closeing with this violation..i'm confused what to do.i have tried updateing stuff etc and nothing works all my info in the config files seem to be perfect i have redid them like 1000 times..any help?

Example pieces this is the ascent config.

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "no" Name = "world" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "no" Name = "logon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

Everything seems to match in the other files. here is the logon

My longonserver will run perfect i can login to the game just no realm list etc from ascent crashing ,thanks.

Do you mean a new rev/db i have tried all the db's and different ascent versions all do the samething.

And its not OS error, as i have vista and you have XP.

Step by step guide- kinda..
1 install mysql set root pssword etc

2 installed mysqlyog i think it is.. connect to root dorectory i made from mysql

3 make 2 new databases.. one called world another logon.

4 load the Sql world into world and characters/logon into logon edit account in logon -refresh databases.-save -close-

5 setup the ascent config files ascent config realm and logonserv make sure they match run logonserv it works great..then open ascent.exe it loads for a few seconds then closes with that violation error..i removed all the die messages aswell.

I don't think so..doesn't it seem the makers of this program would have figured this error out..it seems common.

Ah.. i read that you gotta use rev 1_6 as its stable, the rest arnt.

So just get the older rev of ascent and use the new databases with it???

I think thats a config problem are you useing milestone 0.2 with that version and what version of that did you get?..of ascent?

GRATS! i'm now getting a call stack on ascent.exe..and its closeing.

he's using ascent 1657 though...all the newest rev seem to all have failures.

I am using Ascent 1766 with latest ncdb database... no issues works great.. issue seemed to start at the 1800 of ascent... core has been change in some way.
