Adding NPC Dialogue - Ascent

I'm using the latest Ascent core (self-compiled) with NCDB (current stable release) and I can't seem to add dialog to NPCs. I just want the basic text block you get when you click on an NPC to work, and though I thought I did it correctly, either nothing shows or I get the deafult "Hello %n how may I help you?" message. Can anyone walk me through this or point me at what I may be doing wrong?

Bump. I searched the forums and found this post so instead of creaating a new topic. Anyone help out here i would like to know the same thing. I know in ur datbase there is NPC_Text table, there is also NPC_Gossip_Textid. Now i knoe this is possible becasue i am using a repack and there are custom mobs that you open adialoge windo with. So I want the same thing. I made a custom mod entry level 45 and I want players to be ablet o click on him and it will open a window where he will say Welcome to so and so etc. DOnt mind my mistyping i am rather tired. :P
