ANRIX - Adding characters problem

I have got my Antrix server working and I am connecting to it (takes several retries though).

However I do not seem to be able to create a character, I go through the character creation ok and the antrix server screen shows that I am creating a character. However the character never appears in the available list. Neither does the database get updated with the character details. When I try to create another with the same name I get a duplicate name error on the client. When I restart the server I can once again create a character with the "duplicate" name.

Seems the server is caching the character somewhere but not passing the information to the database. When the server is restarted this cache is cleared.

Any ideas?

Im a noob myself, but have you made sure your DB has a characters table with the correct fields? I had to copy over this table myself as my first DB was off on the table specifics and was doing the same thing. Hope this helps.
