@100+ vendor bug: I didn't really test 2.6 lol, I'll get around to testing and fixing it when I'm free. Too busy doing other stuff unrelated to wow or DB development.
Version 2.61 released. The level 100+ vendor now works. If theres more vendors that doesn't work, report it here, but be sure it's not a bug caused by your own installation faults.
can you post the fix you made so we dont have to re-run the ENTIRE script just for the one vendor? it takes quite a while to run and id like to avoid it. thanks! :juggle:
How long does this script usually take? It takes about 2 minutes for me to get up to ~ 280 / 304kb, but then it just.. freezes up my server! is there something really big here? or am i just coping an error?
Oh and BTW, will my vendors remain inthe same place after a server reset? or will i have to run some sort of script.. I know in some servers such as BurningWoW they are layed out nicely in all the main towns. Is it possible to do something like that autormatically everytime the server starts?

@deliberd: If your query hangs, its the very last line that adjusts the prices, remove that very last line then it'll run faster. But beware, items will cost nothing to buy.

When I add Vendor.sql to my Sqlyog it just freezes a 98% I tryed 2 times and I re downloaded it. wut am I doin wrong?

Hey, i have TNPS7 and when i start executing that sql file "vendors", it goes well at beginning but when its at the end, it freezes, i mean totally freezes. I have to reset whole computer.

Just leave it running, honestly - you'll probably be unable to use your PC for a while. I thought my PC had crashed too, but it just takes a long time. 10-20 minutes for me.Quote:

Usually the last query takes up 100% of your CPU since mysql tends to do that when its totally occupied, I'm on dual core so it technically takes up 50% of my cpu and I get by without freezes or lag. If your on a single core, it might look like your computer has completely frozen because of the heavy cpu usage.
im running a single core, and my computer gets by fine with running them.

ok the error files i kept getting from vendors.sql and custom.shop2.61 have gone. im getting some problems though. I did all this
1. execute TNPS7
2. execute the missing character related tables (rev 7 i think)
3. executed missing items rev 7
4. executed custom shop 2.61 (without the last line)
5. executed vendors.sql
6. deleted cache folder
7. started my server and logged in
but i still get the 'invalid format in creature_proto (35/36)' and 'invalid format in quests (94/95)'
and when i log in theres no NPC's (creatures, guards etc.)
and if so could you make a video tutorial on doing all this?
what do i do?

Vendors are automatically deleted when you execute a new version, theres already a delete query.

umm i got the error "no sell template found" when clicking on any of the vendors after i started up my server...any ideas on what to do?

it still says it, also when i try to go into any kind of instance it says invalid instance map id or somethin and then puts me into the starting area of the race i am
the server i have is antrix core 924, the terranetDB rev7 from this guide and the other sql files from this guide are in it
other than that i updated the dbc and map files from my game client as well (2.1.3)

When I run the .sql files, they stop, and crash my comp. Even so, I'd stop them before they crash [so it does at least some] and when I click them to buy, nothing happens.

and if it is i can't get to them because it says 'page not found'

and i think i might have them already because one time i went to my OLD ac folder and clicked logonserver then antrix and logged in (i changed the stuff in antrix.conf, logonserver.conf and realms.conf to match my db) and when i logged in, there were NPC's! and i could spawn all the vendors except when i tried to buy stuff from the a message down the bottom said "sell list not found" or something like that
and now for some reason when i try my old ac folder and my normal one's antrix.exe, after loading the DBC files a window comes up and says " antrix.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" and theres those to buttons, Send or Don't Send

The new public "antrix" is ascent or something. I havn't been around for wow lately, wow gets boring :), same goes for every other mmo.
does this work with the OBDB2 DB? Or are the ID's for the items and such completely different? :( I really need this for my DB and can't afford to use TerraNet... no offense intended I just like OBDB2 better...

i dont know if i did something wrong but there are no npcs on my server now.
Why on earth would you fix the bug with the free item sellbacks, lots of servers had crazy xp rates and low gold rates, some updated their vendors to these ones and the floodgates of gold opened, but now that's long gone, *sigh*.

ok so what does this do. cause i got the shopping mall in BT. but i want vendors in gm island. the original ones. is there anyway i can get it? i want the tier 1-6 vendors with the highlevelstuff vendor, etc all spawned at gm island. anyone know where i can get it?
