Re: need help from pro in antrix
Hey guys, i managed to get 2 realms running at same time accessable without changing the ip address or creating a new account. All my players have to do is login and they can choose either my blizzlike realm, or my fun realm. Heres what I did. First i copied all the files to run antrix.exe ONLY, not logonserver only antrix (antrix.exe, antrix.conf, libeay32.dll, libmysql.dll, dbghelp.dll, realms.conf, script bin(folder), and dbc (folder).) I created a new folder in the directory where my original antrix and logonserver exes are located called "Normal Realm." I then pasted all that stuff into that folder, and modified the confs to change experience rates/drops ect. I changed the port 8129 to 8128 in the conf files also. I forwarded that port on my router :). I then went to mysql and created another database called antrix1 and stuffed it full of everything. I did not do anything with the accounts or crap, just left it all blank. In antrix.exe the "normal realm" you should have "antrix1" as the database name also. Now go to the original antrix and logonserver and run both, then go to folder and run antrix.exe, it should connect to the logonserver and your all done :square_g:.

Re: need help from pro in antrix
For my own setup I have 4 folders in my server folder for my 2-realm server. One has the logon server only, one has the first realm, one has the second realm, and one has the maps for both (since I don't want to have a duplicate folder of 942 mb of files). I have changed the port number from the default for the second realm and each of those 3 servers has its own database (this means that the logon server has its own database with account information only and the realm servers have no account information in their databases). I have of course updated the configuration files to point to the different map folder location. This setup has been working well so far.

Re: need help from pro in antrix
the easiest way to do this is open up your realms.conf and completly copy over the last part except change the first part to say realm2 instead of realm1 thats the easiest way

with the newer builds of antrix you can have 1 login database multipule character databases and 1 world database (for easy updating with out risk of messing up accounts or characters)
