[ANTRIX][QUESTION]Custom Vendor Prices

Hmm, Ok i got the Custom Vendor part down, but how do you make the prices for the items you put into the vendor? Like in my server we have "Reward Tokens" for winning events and such. How would we make it so they need so many "Reward Tokens" to buy an item from the vendor?

well for ascent .npc spawn 50049 is the reward tokens so i have no clue

No...i mean like...you know the honor vendors...you need like 2k honor to buy a medallion of the horde/alliance...i want it so they need like 20 "reward tokens" to buy a Tier 7 set. I made my own reward token.

I think Honor is handles with the "extended cost" column in the db. Don't quote me I really have no clue, because I haven't looked too close into this. You MIGHT have to change some code in Ascent/Antrix and then change the Table design to add a new column for the new form of currency. Just a thought though. Like I said don't quote me on it.

Lol, I know honor is the extended cost column. But if my "tokens" that i made would work with that...what what i type in to get it to work with that? and also how do i edit it so it needs say like "1 Piece of Tier7 needs 5 tokens"

You can't make your own tokens without editing everyone else's client.

I found adding tokens to be a pain in the perverbial. I did however want the mall working nicely so I manually went in and added all the prices for buy and sell of every item that my vendors offer so that now everything has a price in normal game currency. Yep, it is a big job but one that needed to be done to enhance the already great mall system that people have developed. I think server admins may well find that token systems are hard to play with so selling for currency may be a easier solution for some as it was for me.

Sorry that I cannot help with tokens but Item Prices is something I have done a fair bit with and it seems to work well for the players. Items that require tokens, can easily be given a price and hence it is a simple way to make the vendors seem realistic in game.

Just make things require a certain amount of honor points rather than a token. It will save everyone time.

Hmm, damn. Ok...Cause me and the other admin of my server made tokens...and they were rewarded for winning events and such. But ok....well if anyone finds out...please inform me. =]
