Antrix: Vanity pets and jokes

I've installed several antrix versions, and the newer DBs work quite well - thanks to all contributors!
However, the non combat pets refuse to appear, and several commands, like /silly result in only one of the several available results on the blizzard servers. I've found private antrix servers where both /silly and pets work as they're supposed to. So.... Are there fixes available? Have I done something wrong? The lack of pets, jokes etc. might seem a moot point, but I think such small details are part of the real charm of WOW, so I'd really like my server to provide them if possible...
