[Ascent] Boss Encounters

Sup frandz,

I have been using my server now for awhile and its awesome, thanks guys for all your hard work. The only thing Ive been trying to fix are the boss ecounters. They will attack but are unscripted, unlike the live realms. I have been going over the forum and have come across a "scriptdev2" file that I should have.

I have found a website that links it SourceForge.net Repository - [scriptdev2] Log of /sql/scriptdev_full.sql but Im not sure if its the correct file, or even how to import it into SQLyog.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :D

If you compiled yourself, then the appropriate SQL file for your scripts should be on the SVN with the source. If not, then you'll need to find the appropriate ScriptDev dlls. I've noticed that many compilers are leaving these out now.

Ok I have absolutely no idea what Im doing. I have searched various forums and found alot of info but still no closer to working it out. This is what I understand so far,

1 - Find the ScriptDev and put into SQLyog
2 - Find the Scriptdev.dll to add to Game Directory

Is this right?

As far as I understand ScriptDev is only for MaNGOS ??

I would love to have Blizz like scripted bosses in SSC/The Eye for guild raid practice on my own server.

If i'm mistaking any idears on where to find the DLL for ascent, I have the SQL file from there home page ?

go look under www.moonplusplus.info :: Index that is one of the more popular sites for the boss scripting, most of them work within reason, some are just outright messed up but it's better than nothing.

Works !!! Now only thing I need is LUA and SQL files for TK, BT, Hajy, SSC, Gruul, Mag etc. that are Blizz like.
