Is there a way to use flying mounts in not OUtland places?

Flying in Azeroth is not supported by the Client and more particular the maps. Even if you delete the check for being in Outlands when mounting a Flying mount from the server core it will not fly. A workaround through this is the .cheat fly command but still that would cause lots of problems if you give access to this command to common players (actually make you float in the air either you are mounted or not, uses the "swimming" formula) meaning people can attack while "swimming" aka your server will get messed up.

Well one HS Wow's donation list theres a drake that can fly in Azeroth not sure it works but if it does it probably helps the lag there :/.

Ok wow didnt let people fly for a reason, custom content that defies the game over the line usually results in a negative effect... I can see it now, 40 man raid party on flying mounts dropping down from the sky into a city and owning the bosses then flying back out... rofl.

5 orcs on wyverns forming an arrowhead formation swooping down into stormwind

Then you can also have aerial combat, rofl although it would be fun that's a job for blizzard.

I clearly mentioned how and also mentioned the disadvantages of the method and thus not being advisable to use it. On the other hand you are free to do whatever you want with your server as long as you don't ask how to clear the mess afterwards.
