[ascent][help]other people can connect but i cant?

ok this doesnt make sence, i own the server and i cannot connect? but lol other people can..my realmlist is 127.0.0.1 theirs is my external ip adress..and theirs works mine doesnt..i get stuck on logging onto game server then it brings me back to realmlist..please help

how did u manage to do that? can you post how you found out and your realms.conf files?

well all my conf files are right, and i see my friends connecting and im talking on msn..it says they are connecting from ascent.exe

hmm i fixed that, now other people cant connect lol

Make two realms one with your exernal ip and the other with your internal , internal can be found by goin' to command prompt and typing ipconfig
and it should give you a list, it should be something like 192.168.1.45 or so.

Can't you just put your IP back again in every place that it can be and shoud... and change your realmlist to that little dude called your IP, the one everyone used to logon, do not use localhost, if you haven't made the realm acceptable by it (:

Well i made 2 realms and they connect to the first one and you connect to the second one and you can still play with them

I've made many servers running on-line for many ppl. The only reason they worked, was because they had dirrect lan connection(It's cheaper). You just put your IP everywhere you see and the server runs. But this dirrection, can blow up your PC (not long ago, half a year, i got my newest AMD 64
Procesor, and boom, elecrtic shock right from the cable (no more lan net for me)... good thing there was a larenty)
And as you know most ISP give routers that translate the net and stuff , but most of them are without a real IP, or are so heavily secured, so that is why, not everyone succeds to run it with a router (:

P.S. I'm not helping, i just say... good luck finding out xD
