[Ascent] How to make GM?

I need to know how to make myself a GM using ascent.
I'm a bit confused. I set GM to 8 but i don't think its doing anything.

in your database you need to set gm to "az" and flags to 8

I do not have TBC so I leave flags at zero. Is that good or bad?
Also, I cant figure out how to make my self level up O_o
(Using Ascent BTW)

Oh and for some reason I do not have any n00b weapons or clothes.

If you don't have TBC flags should be at zero. And .level or .commands for commands and "az" is admin "a" is GM.

You have to use ".levelup" command instead of ".level", so you can get real XP with talents.
