Ok. Get this. My server works great the first time I run it and I have no issues logging in. Then after I close it I can not log back in when its restarted. Im shutting it down correctly. What gives? I need to reinstall everything again to get it to work after the initial login in. I have not always had this issue. The only thing I have done is gone up to two gigs of memory. I dont think its related but just figured I would mention it.

What database and repack is this, and what are your IP's facing to? Is your firewall off, ports forwarded?

Only problem is with a server run on my machine. So during this time, your Ascent.exe and Loginserver.exe remain open and fully loaded saying the server is online without fail, and you cannot connect..
Try this..
Open that up in notepad..Code:Go to Start -> My Computer -> C: -> WINDOWS -> System32 -> drivers -> hosts
It should say:
Underneath of this, add:Code:127.0.0.1 localhost
External IP can be found by going hereCode:Your external IP your DNS name (dont add "your DNS name", just add something like vwow.no-ip.biz or something of the sort)
Ok I figured something out. Has to do with my wow client. If i delete my WTF folder and Cache folder everytime I log back in then it seems no problems...Any idea why it would do this?
It's storing information that wasn't used probably, giving you an error. Just keep doing that and you should be okay. :)
