[Ascent] Need working config files for a Public (NOT LAN) server

The thread people keep telling me to go to is for LAN and i want a server where my friends can connect to it, when i tell them to connect, they are unable to

4 Days of work on this server not getting it to work

Alright, all the LAN stuff works fine for public if you do this: go to dyndns.com and sign up, go to services, and create a dyndns redirect. take that IP, and put it in every place where you would put your lan ip in your conf files. last step: edit your hosts file to look like this with your IP's:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 [dyndnsIP]
LANIP [dyndnsIP]
WANIP [dyndnsIP]

google "whatsmyip" if you aren't sure what your wan ip is. Any other problems, msg me or if needed I can help you on msn.


EDIT: all IP's in conf files should be your dyndns redirect

eh not nessesarely needed to fuck up your hosts file?
just go to my thread, download the realms.conf for lan&wan (it is under extra's) and edit it with the right values.
