[Ascent] Player Accounts and Character DB

Alright.

I believe my Character DB got currupted somehow, probably because i messed around with it too much.
Right now, i have over 3200+ accounts with many players on the server.
Though, i am currently experiencing regular server crashes (every 10-20 mins or so).

I know the problem most probably lies in the Character DB because i tested with a new one and server crashes stopped.
I am using Ascent rev. 2575 with NCDB rev. 705.


My question is, would it be possible to do one of the following :

- Fix the Character DB so server crashes stop
- Backup player accounts and characters while resetting the rest of the Character DB so i don't loose all my players


If anyone has any suggestion, it would greatly be appreciated.

Sure, i can help and keep your players :P
Thats only if your using SQLyog that is....
Okay, all ya gotta do is
Back up "Accounts" and "Characters" tables Store them somewhere SAFE
add your new character DB
reimport them

Be, Sure that you WILL loose you guild and arena teams ect.
but DONT backup these. because these have lots of fixes in the new Char DB
After you have updated.
Run the SQL Updates,
Download the NEW Version

What about player items and player pets ?

I just tried starting a new character db with accounts / characters back ups and server crashed not too soon after.

Not sure what to do now :(
