Ascent problem logging

Wondering about possible problems that might cause the server to go to the character creation screen but still have the connected box with the cancel button not letting me do anything.

Sounds like a port problem or a missing password or something of the sort in loginserver.conf.

You forgot to forward the ports.

It could definately be the ports for me i was hoping to not have to touch that stuff o well. My sister got her server up before me. She sometimes has that problem while trying to connect to her own server but only sometimes and she has all the ports forward.

I had the same thing, i just kept on it, clicking back an forward. it finally let me in, since then i havnt had it happen again :)
