If all else fails, Hamachi will probably work. I tried everything to get my server to run over a DynDNS and ended up having to use that. I think the problem is probably my router, but meh. I wouldn't suggest Hamachi if you're trying to run a "real" server, but it's fine if it's just for a couple friends.
If not, I suppose you could try calling up your ISP to see if they're blocking the ports you're trying to use.

yea, i think thats what im gona have to do. but the hamachi idea is way out. i personaly hate that program.. its just a big needless pain in the ass.. it works very well yes but to host a real server like im trying to do.. lol just gona be a pain

If you plan for your server to get big and you have to have your ISP do everything for you via router/modem, you're best off getting a dedicated server right away if you have the money to afford one.
