I think this has already been addressed as far as the emulator displaying an error when trying to load spells112 table. This is because the NCDB tool wasnt loading it into the database. I ran the sql query spell112 seperately, and it worked fine after that.

There are a lot of cool spells that people don't really think about using in this table. You really should take a look inside. Take a look at the ID number, and when you want to learn the spell, just type .learn <spellid>

There are some spells in there that say "Teaches <Spell Name>" in the description. It is important to note that if you learn these spells, they will appear in your general spells area of your spell book, and you use those spells, it teaches the spell, and does not actually use the spell. You can target yourself and use the "teach" spell after you have learned it, and it will then teach you that particular spell and you can use the actual spell from then on.

These "teaches" spells are very useful for admins of private servers that want to give their GMs limited powers to help players out with certain things. Particularly important are the instant cast portal spells, the skill spells, and a few others. With these spells, you log in as the admin, target a player that is going to help out (that you trust lol) and cast the "teaches" spell on them. From then on, that player can cast that "teaches spell on other players and teach them that ability by casting it on them. It will appear in the targeted player's spellbook, and they can use it from then on.

This is especially helpful for servers that have bugged quests for certain skills or spells. The appointed helper will log on and announce in LFG channel that they will be teaching players spells that they cannot learn from trainers or quests. Of course this helper person will need to do a little investigation as to whether the player should have the spell. In other words, the helper player should not be teaching summon cinnamon rolls spell to a warrior.

So dive into your database in the spells112 table and use these. They are helpful!
