    [Asent] Mysql Connection Problem

Whenever I try to run my server it says exactly in the mysql window " Connecting to mysql on localhost with <root : ********> sql Connection failed. Reason was Can't connect to mysql on "localhost" <10061>

Then the database won't startup so poof....no server T_T

I find this wierd because just a couple days ago I was using the Ascent core repack and was able to connect just fine. I was done with that though and removed it from my computer and then d/led AC repack 7.3

Now I just can't even connect to the mysql server. I've tried using Navicat AND Sqlyog but neither of them work. I've checked to configs for the servers and everything looks good to me. I have no idea whats wrong. If someone could help please tell me. If you need any other info just ask. Thanks =)

do you have the ports set right in the configs? Make sure the ports and password are correct.

Wamp has I think it stands for Windows Apache MySQL PHP. I use xampp i like it alot better. You really only need it if you are trying to host a website on your computer/server. Most webhosts already support all of these. So mainly just for home users to host via their own comp.
