Authentication Error

Everything was swell until I tried logging in, I see that there was no realmlist. I take a look back at my loginserver.exe and I see that I get this error...

Authentication request from 127.0.0.1 FAIL

I don't know how to fix it. X-X Help would be great.

Did you setup your realm in the config list?

I left it at default, did I miss something? @_@

You have to make sure those default value works on your server!!!!!!

on realm.conf

Look for:


<Realm1 Name = "My Realm"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129" <--- THIS ONE, Some defualt are the Dev's IP than yours
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "0.0"
TimeZone = "10">

Did you setup other parts on other conf files as well? because its also seems like the client revision auth error if you didnt set on other part.

OMG did you even read the setup guide? What gameserver you are using? Ascent? Mangos?

I'm using ascent, I did read the setup guide It told me to change the Ip do my Internal IP.

make sure you check the port as well and revision support. there must be something wrong in there.
