batch import of mangos sql files

I'm having trouble getting my server to work 100%. In the past I've used one of the repacks but now I'm trying to start from scratch. I've had good luck setting up the mysql server itself but I'm having trouble batch importing the sql files.

Most of the guides I have found have you import the mangos.sql and realmd.sql files from the mangos package. I assume I can grab any mangos package if I'm starting from scratch? Then do the same for the DB package? I'm confused as to what files I need to start.

For example the mangos install I grabbed has

    sm_herold-r87.sql
    realmd.sql
    mangos.sql
    mango-scripts.sql
    jail.sql
    drop_mysql.sql
    create_mysql.sql
    cpp-scripts.sql

Do I need all of these? I couldn't find a place that explained what they do. I assume in addition to these I need the mangos.sql and realmd.sql that come with SBD. I need a full install and not just the changesets?

Thanks to anyone who is kind enough to help me.

Don't bother using the SQLs that come with MangOS revs. Just download the newest SDB, and execute both mangos.sql and realmd.sql in their respective databases. Easy :P

thanks Yamachi, I did what you said and I now have what seems like a working server! I guess my second import of the mangos.sql and realmd.sql messed things up.

One thing that appears to be a problem is npcs don't move (monsters are fine). I did a few searchs and it looked like I should import

    mango-scripts.sql
    and
    cpp-scripts.sql

as well. This didn't seem to help.

Any clue what might be wrong? I'm using
    MaNGOS_2967 + MangoScript_92
    and
    SDB 0.5.4 *Changeset 55* 2946

    thanks everyone

Not sure y the NPCs aren't moving... maybe they don't have any waypoints set.

you run the full sdb changeset 55 in mangos db in navicat (if it's new install of db). you then run jail, mango-script, cpp-scripts, sm-herod sql's on mangos db. run realmd.sql on realmd database and that's it.

to do an update you overwrite the dll's from the mangos serv with ones from newer version, you apply any new sql updates from mangos\sql\updates folder, and any new sql updates from sdb forum
