Best Server

I just wanna know what if your opinions as the best server. I wanna change. I have mangos 4535 with slivermoon 1.8. I'm not happy with it at all :(. A lot of sound effects don't work, Murloc Costume doesn't work, Swift Nether Drake don't work...I can go on and on. I'm mad because a other version of the server most of this stuff worked right. I wish I hadn't deleted it. So I wanna know what is the best server to get with the least amount of problems?

I am running MaNGOS[4527] with Silvermoon 18 and it works great, I don't have any of the problems you describe below.

I do have some minor issues with raid instances however it could be related to the fact that I enter in GM mode then change.. sometimes monsters kick me out of the instance for instance.

But my drakes works, etc... I tried a different database and had MAJOR problems.. so this is a vast improvement.

I wonder why the 4535 had problems when the older version worked fine that makes no since.

Well where can I go to get steps on how to install ascent I tried to look and I get lost lol

Now Ascent crashes i get "access violation at 0x7C35528C any ideas?

something in your config files is not the same, maybe remote password
or the database host, username, password, database name or the type is wrong

I got it working now I just deleted everything and started over but now when I log into the server it pops up with the realm. I click it and hit OK and the realm list goes away then pops again and keeps doing it. Any ideas for that?

that's the oh-so-infamous "realm-loop". there's plenty of guides here on RZ that detail how to fix that issue.
