when creating a new account thru navicat ~~ going to "<name of connection>" "realmd" then opening "account" then clicking the + down the bottum to add a new set of details, i set the id to the next number along, an then set the password an name, but when i try connecting with that account, itl ask for what type of realm u want to connect to, leave it as default, click select server or what ever, itl suggest <my server name> then click accept, but then itl just go to select realm list, when u try connecting with the new account it just keeps going to the list, an when u try connect with one of thge old accounts that came with the realmd.sql (numbers 1,2,3 an 4) theyl connect fine.

I have problems with trainer of mounts, does not train to them without that ability cannot mount. by fa aid as I solve this
I have set up my server and also configured it as it should be with no trouble at all .. the only thing that is worrying me is that when I created an account using the Mangos Database Handler after that, I logged into the game with no errors at all, except i found that there were already 3 characters created .. (see screenshot below)

Hmm, maybe there were three default characters, just delete them if you dont want them... nothing big.
That's not it but the lvl 60 Mage is in a guild and there are other players in that .. but as you said they may have been left so no big deal .. but was worried maybe i got access to someone elses character :p
Basically ragbat forgot to delete his accounts/characters when he uploaded the server files. Either use the Mangos DB Handler, delete them manually with navicat or sqlyog, or just disregard them and create a new account.Quote:

hey, those commands are for gm account an ingame right?(please forgive my cluelessness) and what is this mangos db handler? an were do i get it? cos it wasnt with the origional or newer bloodscavangers mangos repack .rar file.(or i havnt found it buried in folders in folders)

hey, ive gotten the mangos db handler setup, but when im putting in the options, once thats done it ses it cant find "game_addons" an it wont work without it, or please tell me how to avoid this, or plz give me the game_addons.sql file.

How'd you fix it? I have that problem as well. Using newest Mangos revisions and SDB version, but it never has a game_addons table. And I suck at making them, so I can't just make my own =\
having a problem. im wanting to add the .tele command to people with the admin power of 0 (which is user power) just wanting to make it easier for people to get around. so does anyone know how to change the admin commands?
to fix the game_addons problem with mangos dbhandler.
firstly check uve still got the origional mangos.sql file. open navicat or sqlyog(wichever you use) create a new db, name it whatever u like, its realy not important, so for now just name it "old mangos". now execute the origional mangos.sql file into ur newly created db. once it has finnished, (i use navicat so im not to sure how thisil work with sql yog) open ur old mangos batabase, for navi cat, look for the table "game_addons" then drag an drop it into ur mangos db, with navi cat, it should come up with an option asking "copy structure and data" "copy structure only" and "cancel" click copy structure and data. now check in ur normal mangos database and there should be game_addons in there, now open mangos dbhanler and try again and it should work.

to make the .tele command work for all players, simply.
(this is what you needa do if using navicat, not sure what for sqlyog, should be practicly the saem tho)
1: open navicat
2: go into your mangos database
3: open the table "command"
4: then click on the "+" in the tool bar at the bottum of the table window, so u can enter a new set of values.
5: ::entering values:: in name cell, put "tele", in security cell, put "0", u can add help info in memo if u want but its not esential, i added
"Syntax: .tele $mapname
Warps you to $mapname."
(although it mite be esential, so just add that)
6: click on the tick on the botum bar, "update record" then click the "refresh" icon on the same bar as update record.
7: close navicat if you want, now relaunch the server. now connect on a normal account (gm lvl 0) and type .tele mapname . and there u go, u should be able to use .tele an any account.

well, its the only one, which really works for me :p
Most of the php scripts use a backlevel version driver to mysql. The problem is that the password encryption algorithm changed. In MySql you have to change the password to one encrypted with the old algorithm.Quote:
