Yes, you can install from those disks, then patch to the nessasary patch, edit your .wtf file and connect to a private server.

you can also make a copy
So 1 c:/progamefiles/wow/ for playing with your real account of W0W
here original set realmlist ....
and 1 c:/programefileswow/copy of W0W for playing with you test servers :o)) here set realmlist 127.0.0.1
just after when all is instaled and patcht to 1.12.1 make the copy !!!!
i have it like this because then you can play without beeing band by blizzard !!! seeya

ok thnx,but if i will install 1.12.1 at the original WOW so the copy will be 1.12.1 aswell,and there is no 1.12.1 servers.
