Client can't see the realm
Hello guys... i think i have some other kind of problem, and if this is an offtopic - please move it where it must be.
Well... This is to problem:
I have made my MaNGOs & mangos site. All is working and its ok, with last updates of SDB and MaNGOs. All connected and working, no errors shown (they're just invisible i think!). And lets try to connect to server... Great! I've made it ! ...but... where is my realm ?! MaNGOs Site tells that the realm is UP, i see the same... no errors, no bugs shown... all is ok. But WoW Client can't see it when connected to server! (connect, login, db read & all other is just OK) What's this ?! Can u help me ?

check your realmlist.wtf to make sure you have the correct IP or dns name listed
then check your C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file to make sure you have an entry for:
Your Servers IP Your servers Dynamic DNS Name
if you are trying to connect locally to your server. This should allow you to see your realm.

hmmm i was trying to connect to my local net ip
thats what is listed in hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost
nothing more...
How to fix all this, the server still can't see the realm when connect.
Edit:
hmmm tried to change the realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1... no change..

you need to add a line under that like this
127.0.0.1 localhost
10.254.250.3 wow.kuehluniverse.com or External IP if you do not have Dynamic DNS setup
Then reboot you workstation for the hosts file to take effect
Make sure your realmlist.wtf is set to your external IP for your WOW server
See if that helps

The same.... i've restarted my machine, reloaded the database again and cleared all additionals... just original 2800. No server and realm errors, except that the client still can't see the realm when connect.. even with administrator's acc
Some other ideas ?

look in the realmlist table in the realmd database
is the realm you want listed right?
realm name and then the IP of the server?

if u don't edited your realmd.accounts table - try administrator/administrator
i think my problem is something other... i'm loging in the server and when the realmlist is shown, the table is empty. The mangos site tells that the realm is online but wow client can't see it
my realmd.realmlist table is something like that
... Azeroth 10.0.0.131 ... 127.0.0.1;3306;root;xxxxx;mangos
realmd.conf and mangosd.conf are okay
when the daemons start there is no errors... during the proccesses running - there is no errors too... wtf is going on ?!
PS: realmlist.wtf
set realmlist 10.0.0.131
tryed 127.0.0.1 - the same result...
HELP!
/* EDIT
question: what must be the ports in mangosd.conf , realmd.conf and realmd.realmlist_Port field in the database?

WOW !!!!
I've made it ! :D
The problem was in the timezone field in realmd.realmlist table... it was set to 2, but it must be 1 to be in US :)
Close this thread please...
