u can try dling a tool for it (if i remember correctly there should be a few available for it ^^) or just look at ur items file there are al items ur server contains listed, it's not to difficult to understand how a weapon/armor works :P
(btw item_id has to be unique. display_id = item model)

Just go into your database and go to the items table, then add a new row and fill in the item info. The columns are pretty self-explanatory, so it's really easy to insert a new item.
This will work on Mangos Platnium?
If your using mangos platnium then you probably don't know much about mySQL cause you didn't even make your own mySQL server...but yes it could work if you had lets say navicat...
