Custom Private Server Launcher

The launcher is packed in an arhive, unzip the 2 files to any location you want, but make sure they are together.
However, should you accidentaly delete or corupt the database file, you have the option to generate a new one in the options menu.

Credit for 2 of the 3 built-in backgrounds goes to th3k1d. The other graphics and coding are made by me.

v 2.2
- Added 'Tenacious Gaming Orcs & Humans' background image to the list of default images.
- Added Tenacious Gaming Server news. To view the images in full size, click them.
- If no realmlist has been selected (usually at first run), and the play button is clicked, the launcher automatically connects to Tenacious Gaming Server.
- If no vote link has been selected (usually at first run), and the vote button is clicked, the launcher automatically sets http://tenaciousgaming.com/website/vote as vote link.
- Updated the 'Vote for account' feature to work with the changed website.

- Changed the font of the text in the about tab to arial, to fix a crash that some people experienced.

- Added a 'Tenaciosu Gaming PTR' button to quickly set the realmlist to TG PTR in the add server menu.
- Added Tenacious Gaming PTR server to the default server list.
- The launcher no longer opens if one of the dll files is missing.
- The launcher has been protected against decompilers (protection is never perfect, but it's enough to stop the newbs).

v 1.9
- Added possibility to vote for a specific account (Tenacious Gaming only)
- Added a baloon tooltip displaying the time left untill you can vote again, when the mouse hovers over the wow launcher tray icon.
- Added posibility to right click -> copy on the change log text in the about menu.

v 1.8
- Added possibility to do nothing when the game starts (i know, it sounds lame but before you could only minimise or exit, now you can just leave it as it is).
- Added possibility to start the launcher minimised in system tray at windows startup (usefull for voting reminder)
- Added possiblity to auto minimise the launcher when wow is started by other means than the play button (for the play button, change the 'When the game starts' field.
- Added change log in the about tab.
- Fixed a flickering that ocured when the launcher was restored.- Fixed a bug that activated the voting cooldown when you tried to vote without setting up a voting link first.

v 1.7
- Added 2 aditional backgrounds (credit to th3k1d)
- Added minimise button.
- While minimised, the launcher reminds you when it's time to vote at the specified interval.
- Fixed a bug that slipped in version 1.6 which disabled the posibility to add a personal image as background.

v 1.6
- The selection of a background image went to it's own tab.
- Added support to open up to 5 instances of wow when clicking "Play".
- Added possibility to start another instance of wow from the tray icon.
Added possibility to chose if total time played should be displayed in the main window.
- Added the possibility to chose if the Vote cooldown timer should be 2 hours or 12 hours (depending if the server is a gold member or not).
- Fixed a bug that caused the cooldown timer to incorectly display time left due to a conversion error.

v 1.5
- The launcher now also supports the enGB version of wow.
- The launcher now automatically checks for a new version.
- The layout of the buttons has been changed.
- Added a Cooldown timer for the Vote button.
- Added the posibility to close the launcher from the task bar context menu.

You have never tried to make launcher for a game which does not use .wtf or any kind of textfiles as connection IP?

no i haven't.

each game is different, if there is no text file, then it probably needs parameters sent, but i can't say for sure untill i take a closer look.

why are you releasing this if it is meant for your server?

it's not strictly for 1 server, you can select your own background image if you don't like the default ones and you set realmlist to your own server. (it has a database to store as many servers you want and you can switch them with just 2 clicks)

i made this launcher for the benefit of the players, not for server owners.
That means the source will not be available.

The little publicity to a certain server is there because it it wasn't for the comunity on that server, i would never have done the launcher... think of it as my way of saying "thanks" to them.
