Database Update

hey all
i just had a dilemma with my friend that maybe some of you can help me with it.
well i am using Mangos core rev 3918 and Silvermoon DB rev 8 and it has alot of bugs and when i asked someone with the same DB+Core he told me that he doesn't have this bugs, this sounds weird to me so i want to ask someone if this is impossiable that into the mangos core there is a folder name "SQL" into this there is another folder name "UPDATE".
does it really SQL updates ? that can improve my DataBase and even fix it ? if yes pls if you know just tell me how to put this information from "c:/Mangos/SQL/update" into my SQL anf if not sorry about this topic. :eek:

i know that there is any program to edit SQL files with fixs even not the "c:/mangos/sql/update" one but there most be any way to edit SQL files pls help me
