deleting characters

hey there, i'm having a bit of a problem with deleting characters from my server

after typing 'delete' to delete the character they disappear from the characters screen, however, if i go to make a character with the same name afterwards it states there is still a character with that name.

any help in removing the char from my database would be appreciated

go to your database administration program and delete manually from the sql character table (in navicat or sqlyog for either mangos or kobold)

or if you're running mangos delete from mangos database handler after doing an account search first
